Athena Throckmorton, PT, MS
Athena Throckmorton’s background has a gymnast has led to her lifelong fascination with the movement of the human body and her decision to pursue a career in physical therapy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology from Kean University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then pursued and obtained a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UMDNJ.
Athena currently specializes in treating all orthopedic conditions in younger and older adult populations. She is also a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Neuro Kinetic Treatment Specialist.
